Team Guadaloops is raising money for Running with Ed 2013. We are running the 38 miles, but we want your help to raise money for public education!

​​On May 18th, we're Running with Ed, the annual Park City Relay that raises money for schools in the Park City School District.  Even crazier than running 38 miles is the current need to support public education!  All proceeds from the Relay support the Park City Education Foundation, or PCEF, and its School Site Grant programs.  So, please consider supporting our team--and our schools--with a donation and help make every mile worth it!


PCEF funds many initiatives and programs that our district could otherwise not afford (and too many to list in full here!). For more information, go to www.pcef4kids.org. Here are just a few examples:

About the Guadaloops

In 2012, Molly Leavens (the Student Representative for the Park City Education Foundation) recruited teammates from her ski team (Park City Ski Team) to form the only Running with Ed team composed of all kids.  We had such an amazing time last year, so we could not be more excited to run it together again.  As students, we witness the direct impact the Ed foundation plays in our schools.  Andrew and Gabe are eighth graders at Treasure Mountain Junior High, and Hannah and Alex are ninth graders at Treasure Mountain Junior High.  Molly is a Junior at Park City High School.  Our loyal driver will be Alex's dad in his miniature bright yellow truck and we will be wearing our matching gold accented t-shirts.
